oh Snap!

Recently on the way home we discovered a little friend in the roadway...

We debated just leaving him there, but I wasn't sure (s)he'd escape certain death on a busy roadway...so we decided to rescue her if you will -

Our new friend had a little swim in our sandbox cover...

And seemed to enjoy it...

But...if you love something - you have to set it free ~

(Especially if that something turns out to be snapping turtle...)

So off we went to the pond near where we found our little friend -

And we said 'See ya Later!!'

She wasn't in any real hurry...

or was she...this WAS a turtle after all...

And off she went...

I will say one thing...while it's super suburban around here...we do get our fair share of wildlife!

And that...is fun!
