ok, so it's not really an orchard it's an apple tree in our backyard but it's still fun! The kids LOVE the apples off the tree even before they are red and ready...and maybe next year we'll spray the tree so we get more apples than the birds and the bugs!
Even the first born enjoys himself a few apples...he plucks them right off the tree (as does the neighbor dog Chester) and then proceeds to chomp them up...they LOVE em!
And it's nice that you can wash off your rain boots in the doggie pool when you are done apple pickin'...but big sister has to show you it's ok to go in the water with your waders on first...
and once you get it - splashing around is so much fun!
