Green Clean Organic Wipes - and a Give Away!

Sunday, March 14, 2010

I've talked here before about the sensitive skin my little guy has...
In fact, just yesterday - while playing hard outside - in March - in Minnesota - with snow still on the ground, our poor little guy got sunburn on his neck and his face!
ACK!
Anyway - mostly because of his delicate skin, but also because I love love love to find ways to reduce my carbon footprint - I am thrilled to tell you about Green Clean Organic Wipes!

We've been diaper free at our house for well over a year...I know, I know...How can that be when our son just turned 3? Amazing isn't it? Potty trained before 2 years old? ::takes a bow::
Actually, that was pretty much all his doing - we are forever indebted to him for it too -

ANYWAY - even though we are diaper free and have been for what feels like forever - I still use baby wipes on a daily basis...messy faces, messy hands, messy bu...well, you get the idea...

That's why I'm thrilled about the Green Clean Organic Wipes - not only are they made by a local company - but according to the Green Clean website - 'wipes are mild and ideal for delicate skins containing the purest essential oils. All ingredients are alcohol free natural, bio- degradable, eco friendly and are only tested on humans. TM Natural & the Seal of Cotton are trademarks of Cotton Incorporated'

There are biodegradable wipes for Hands & Face, Baby Eye Care Wipes, Make-Up Remover Wipes, and even Foot Wipes! Something for everyone no doubt!

These wipes are available locally at Cub Foods and Byerly's - or for a location near you - click here to see what other retailers carry them...
But even better than picking up your own pack of wipes for around $1.99...How about leaving me a comment to win some of these wipes to test out for yourself?

Yes folks, it really is THAT easy - simply leave a comment here telling me what YOU like to do to reduce your carbon footprint (do you recycle cans? shut the water off while you are shaving? use only towels & rags & never purchase paper towels?) ... and you'll be entered to win some of these wipes for yourself! That's it! Easy as pie - each comment left here will be dropped into the random.org selector for a chance to win some of these awesome wipes!

We do many different things but really do try to be very aware of our water useage. It takes sooo much energy to clean water-do not let it run, also I have switched to all natural cleaning supplies. Vinegar and lemon rock!

We've been trying to buy in bulk to eliminate some of our waste. Would love to get to the point where we bring in our own containers, but I'm not that organized yet ;).

we are trying to not waste paper products by using less of them. We've redone our recycle area to make room for more things... in the past if I was in a hurry and the bags were full, I'd be lazy and just toss the thing I should have recycled. Anyway, no longer doing that. Trying to be more careful with water. We also reuse all of our plastic milk jugs by filling them with water and bringing them to the dog park for the water bowls.
