We started off our summer with a family road trip...
With Branson, MO as the destination, with no real plans in between here and there -
we were free to stop anywhere along the way...
Not that there was a whole lot to stop for, mind you...
but a thing or two none-the-less.
The first thing we discovered...
Bridges of Madison County!
Well, who knows if this is REALLY Madison County...
but let's just pretend it is, if it isn't.
While not terribly impressive for kids who didn't read the book or see the movie way back when,
and maybe not even then, if you are just 7 or 8 years old...
The family still humored me...
Besides, it's always nice to get out and stretch your legs!

Selfies, especially family (or group) selfies, are all the rage here in the middle of 2014!
If you find yourself driving down I35 through Iowa, and you want to stretch your legs,
this is definitely a quick stop worth taking!
