Shiny & New...

We came home to a package on our doorstep today...
And I'm not sure who was more excited about it - me or the little man of the house - We looove finding mail in our mailbox and packages on our doorstep!

It was from csnstores.com ~ an amazing internet site that offers something for everyone. Seriously.
You may remember that I spent some time on their website last week trying to research kids bedding options...
I was unsuccessful in finding just the right thing for right now - but I did find something else...

You see, THIS here, is what we've been using for the past, oh, I don't know, forty seven years? Ok, so maybe not that long -but it certainly seems like it has been...

And I've been wondering if it's ok to make a gradual switch to stainless steel appliances in our house - do you go all or nothing? Or do you replace them one at a time?

I don't know gang - this is pretty spectacular if I do say so myself, even if it's not white like the stove, refrigerator and dishwasher...
So shiny and bright and...NEW!
I guess I didn't realize how crusty and old our toaster really was...
(and yes folks - the little things in life really DO excite me!)

And speaking of little - we have little counter space in our current kitchen (I say current because well, when that money tree begins to grow - we're going to redo the kitchen...) We've been sort of pining over a four slice toaster - and they have a wide selection of them here...
But in the end - we opted for a 2 slicer...and I'm soo glad we did...
A four slice toaster would NEVER have fit in the spot the toaster needs to go in...
and this. thing. ROCKS!
Not only do bagels fit in this bad boy, but there's a button for when you stick something frozen in there...What? No more burnt frozen waffles?
Ladies and Gentleman...we have a winner!

Disclaimer: I was given the Black and Decker toaster at no cost to me, to review. This review is 100% my opinion and has not been edited or reviewed by anyone. I was not compensated in any other way for this product review.

Okay-first off love the toaster. Secondly-how are you getting in touch with these companies for products to review? I would love to do the same!

Love the toaster! I love that you are making the switch. I am not a huge fan of stainless for my house, but LOVE how it looks in others.
