The weather is getting cooler, the leaves are dropping off the trees...and according to local retailers - Christmas is just around the corner!
That's right folks - we are on the downslide to the end of October - next month brings Thanksgiving, & a few days later - it's time to mail out the
Holiday Cards!
Yes, yes I do try and get my cards out as quickly after Thankgiving as possible. We all want people to have our awesome
Holiday Cards up as long as possible right?
I love love love seeing which person's
Christmas card lands in our mailbox first...We hang our cards up as soon as we get them - and leave them up into the end of January. I love seeing the different designs that people have picked to send out. Picture cards are my favorite ~ it is soo fun to see how families have grown over the year...
Even in this day of social media running rampant- or should I say
especially in this day of social media running rampant, I just love getting snail mail cards!

I'll be honest, every year, I usually make a couple of different designs ~ Yes, I have that much trouble deciding on one design - and no...I won't tell you which ones I'm choosing for 2011!
There are literally hundreds of different designs you can use!
And isn't it interesting that every year we get in the ballpark of 150 cards - and no two are EVER alike? Maybe once or twice we've gotten the same design, but not more than that!
