People often ask me if being a mom to a son is different than being a mom to a daughter...uuuummmmmm....YYYYEEEEESSS!!

I've never had to deal with any *goose eggs* that looked like this with our daughter that's for sure! The little stunt man was busy playing on Saturday morning (approximately an hour before we were expecting 30+ people for a party...) and forgot to look where he was running as he was heading down the hallway - smack dab into a door frame...
I wonder where he gets his gracefulness from...???
Thankfully this was the worst of it...We had our neighbor, a retired paramedic, come and take a peek at him - this was my first panic attack as a parent...I wasn't sure WHAT was going to happen - the swelling was instantanous...
Now, 36 hours later it's just a nice big black and blue and red mark!
*sigh* Yes, parenting a son is WAAAY different than parenting a daughter!

That's a sweet knob on that kid's head! *SIGH* Reminds me of simpler times.

OMG that looks painful! Poor little guy! D's head is taking a beating. Last month Bosco clawed him. Now the goose egg. This kid is superman tough or accident prone.
