Meeting Luke....

We buzzed up Nort' to meet the newest member of the family this weekend...both kids very much fell in love with him ~ I was very impressed with how good, and how gentle, both of our kids were with this tiny 5 day old baby!


I think I may have met my match in the baby hogging department. Hails has been an INCREDIBLE big sister since the day we brought her little brother D home with us. She was not quite 15 months old but took to him right away and never had any of the jealousy issues that we often hear about...(except for now, if he tries to take THE princess or THE little person she wants to play with...)

I can't help but wonder how she'd be with a new baby brother or sister of her very own...For her little brother isn't a baby anymore, heck, he's not even little anymore!

Oh how I get the fever....far too often I get the fever...Does it ever go away??

H didn't even NEED (want me?) to help her hold him...She was a natural!

See how she's supervising this first time Grandma?? I think Grandma is lucky she got to hold him at all while we were there!!

All this baby talk and fever talk had my husband looking for the next train out of town...

and the kids wanted to join him...

But with the lure of good things to come....

I got them all to leave and come home with me...
