Boys and their Toys...

Well, our little man was lucky enough to get his very first motorcycle ride - on a Harley no less - this past weekend!




He didn't even bat an eye - he was just Joe Cool about the whole thing - big sister - she was a little worried he didn't have a helmet on...But he was in good hands...



Thanks to Grandpa Virg - it was soo awesome! Virg is the dad of two of my good friends - someone I both love and admire. He's looked out for me a time or two or ten before, and it melted my cold hard heart watching these two on their little cruise at the Lake last weekend ~ honestly ~ it was so cool!

Not that my dad drove motorcycles when he was alive - but I'd give anything for him to be able to spend some time with his grandson ~ I know that with Derek's love of tools and all things 'boy' he and my dad would have gotten along great ~ in fact, last Saturday morning D woke up asking 'Where's Grandpa Joe?' and I can't help but wonder if he was visited in a dream...
I told him Grandpa Joe was in Heaven and he wasn't quite sure he believed me...
