There are probably hundreds of reasons out there why you should wear a helmet when doing certain things like riding a bike, or even ice skating.
Our biggest reason(s)?
Our kiddos.
This gal right here took a nasty spill her first time out on ice skates this year ~
Thank God for helmets.

wow, you are so smart to wear a helmet when skating. I played hockey through high school and in college. Now this is back in the 1970s. My worse injury was just at a free skate, no kidding. I was skating with a group from friends, I had my hands in my pockets and attempted a crossover stop. I went down hard and the first thing to break my fall was my head. Hope it doesn't hurt so bad. Did you get back on the ice the best thing is to get back out there. Good luck.
